Extension and Remodel
Completed

This semi-detached home was completely remodelled to suit the needs of a young, growing family.

The new, two-storey extension wraps around the original house, increasing its square footage by almost 50%.

The extension, cast in dark bronze, provides a sophisticated contrast with the existing house. On the ground floor, the open-plan kitchen and dining area is separated from the living area by a two-sided fireplace - the perfect place for adults to both entertain and unwind. The children have their own dedicated hideaway connected to the garden and ideally suited to messy play. The existing internal layout was completely reconfigured to provide balance between public/private and noisy/quiet whilst ensuring adequate functional spaces necessary for a busy family home.

On the first floor, a new master bedroom with en-suite features a generous dressing area. The master suite benefits from its own private terrace, which is perfectly positioned to watch the sun rise.
